OUR SUCCESS DEPENDS ON HOW FOCUS WE ARE!
woke up in the afternoon due to unwell. in the end jody jie kindly requested to send me to expo. i was suppose to meet peixuan, kevin and ruiliang at aljunied station. but i met them at expo instead. i arrived earlier than them. hahaha did something then went into the hall. today the praise and worship was long. haha good. lol hehe new songs too. today's message was focus.
we all have to be focus for the year 2008. when we are distracted, we are double-minded thus we are unstable mentally. the power of focused concentration is very strong. example the sun. the focus light has tremendous power+energy. light that is shattered/unfocus isn't very power. you can try using the torch light. (: we are like the light of the world for God, to shine brightly for him.
We should be focus on out calling/purpose in life. when we are distracted, we will definitely lose our focus. you only can get what you focus on. lets forget our past(2007) and press and look forward for our goal/future(2008). the past can be our beautiful memories and also memories that can delay us from 2008. we have to aim something to hit for this year. If you aim for nothing, you will get nothing. wise people plan ahead/for the future.
ITS NOT ABOUT WORKING HARD ALONE BUT ALSO WORKING SMARTER.
#1 our goals must be specific.
#2 our goals got to be measurable.
#3 action plan.
#4 our goals got to be realistic.
#5 our goals got to be time conscious.
#6 our goals got to have expectation management.
#7 our goals got to have revelation.
after service we celebrated stephanie's birthday and also thank meitong for last year. (: we left the hall at about 8plus. quite late. hahaha we then walk to the food court. ate then we talked til about 9 plus 10. some took train, some took bus. meitong, peixuan, stephanie, vanessa, ruiliang, dasiree, james, kevin, jaan, john and me took train. we took pictures. hehe take a look bah. reached home, something tragic happen! x( idiotic. argh! watched dvd about vampires until 4am then went to sleep. hehe. thats all folks. tata.
